Let us convert them to file format and deliver them in a digital download or Flash Drive!

Pricing:

$10 per tape - any kind, any length. This pricing is good until the Coronavirus is over… and maybe long after that!
- VHS, VHS-C, Mini DV Tape and 8mm Cassette.
- We digitize the entire length of the tape and trim the blank space at the start and end of the video.
- We enhance the brightness and contrast of the video, making it better than the original.
- We normalize and fix the audio. If there is a hiss, we remove it. If an audio channel is missing, we fix that so both the left and right speakers have volume.
- We provide the file to you as a digital download in High Quality mp4 format so it can be played on any device, and this service is included.
- We can provide the files on a flash drive, USB version 3.0. Cost of those are below.
- We mail everything back to you at your cost. We suggest mailing the tapes back media mail, and the USB drive priority mail (if wanted). We calculate the costs before we send the invoice.
- Free pick up and delivery (10 tape minimum) in Monmouth/Ocean Counties, NJ. During this coronavirus crisis, tell us when to pick up the package, and we will arrive at your location and call you. Then leave the box on the front porch, we will wave at each other, you go back inside and I will get the package. We will deliver it back the same way! You are also welcome to drop it off at our location in shrewsbury.

OPTIONAL SERVICES

$2 to edit out each file.
- If you have a section of the video you want trimmed out (maybe a small piece of it to put on facebook or youtube) then let us know the time codes, and we will create a new file with just the section you want. The cost for each file is only $2!

For Example - This tape is called 1962, and has 4 different videos. If you wanted them all in separate files, you would get 5 files and the total cost would be $18

We also convert DVD’s

DVD’s can get scratched and become unreadable. Let us convert over your DVD files before it’s too late!

We charge $5 per DVD to convert over your video files to mp4 format, so that they can be played on any device. If your home made DVD contains photos and/or music, we can copy those into a folder for safe keeping.

We also convert silent 8mm film, 8mm film with sound, silent super 8mm film, super 8mm film with sound, as well as 16mm reel to reel film. We do this IN HOUSE with highly specialized equipment that digitizes it directly into the hard drive - no projecting on the wall and recording that washed out image. We adjust the color, contrast, brightness, normalize the audio and even remove noise and hiss… the end product looks and sounds better than the original. We charge $25 a reel, no matter the size, and it takes 2-3 days to complete.

USB 3.0 Flash Drive Prices:

All the USB flash drives we provide are brand new, and USB version 3.0 or newer. Insert it into your smart tv and easily watch your files!

You can provide your own flash drive, and we will put your files on it at no charge. We can also send you the files as a digital download, and you can put them on your own flash drive for free.

In General, 15 minutes of video is about 1 GB in size.
